COMMUNITY SERVICE - July 4, 2008
26 Sailors from the USS Naval Doyle ship participated in a community service project as part of The Homeless Coalition’s collaborative efforts. The group gathered at the Stand Down house; a local program focusing on the rehabilitation of veterans. They spent several hours doing grounds-keeping work and landscaping, as well as painting one of the housing areas.
