PROJECT CONNECT - November 21, 2008
Hundreds of people attended Project Connect at the West Palm Beach Health Center Friday morning. This Outreach event formed relationships with business owners, professionals, and volunteers in the community. The homeless and those facing homelessness were provided with the following services: identification cards, haircuts, phone stations, and food. Health screenings were offered. Donations of clothing, small household items and hygiene kits were available to all the homeless attending this event. A memorial service for those who have lost their lives to being homeless concluded this community event.
