Host an Event

SPREAD AWARENESS IN YOUR COMMUNITY

The possibilities are endless for hosting an event/fundraiser for the Homeless Coalition. Your event is only limited by your imagination.

Hosting an event is a wonderful way to increase awareness about homelessness in our community while having fun and generating funds. Hosting an event also has the potential to increase exposure for your group or business.

Here are some popular event ideas, but feel free to add your own creative twist for something new!

Tournaments:
Whether it’s tennis, golf or bowling, hosting a tournament will give your friends, family and neighbors the opportunity to compete and show their stuff!  Entrance fees cover refreshments and prizes, with the proceeds benefiting the Homeless Coalition.
Entertainment:
Plan a group dinner or party at your favorite restaurant or club. Ask your guests to bring an item, like socks, food or toiletries then donate them to the Homeless Coalition.

Family fun:
Parents and children are always looking for affordable entertainment and activities. Consider hosting a barbecue or picnic and inviting guests to pay an entrance fee or donate an item.
