Orientation

Orientation

Orientation is an important part of your volunteer experience. It’s our chance to get to know you, your interests and strengths.

During orientation you will learn about the Homeless Coalition, ways you can help and meet other volunteers. Orientation may include tours of the business office as well as the Senator Philip D. Lewis Center.

The Homeless Coalition places importance on the induction of new volunteers.  An orientation checklist is available to assist the Volunteer Coordinator and to ensure that all aspects of the Homeless Coalition’s operations, policies, programs, procedures and staff member responsibilities are understood.
